GETTING TO KNOW A STAR ATHLETE: Bianca St-Georges

Athlete healthy lifestyle Inspiring People soccer testimonial

Nuzest is pleased to welcome Bianca St-Georges as one of our newest sports ambassadors. Bianca is an American professional soccer player for Chicago Red Stars of the National Women's Soccer League. We had the pleasure of sitting down and getting know Bianca, so let's see what she had to say!

Q. For those of us who don’t know you, who is Bianca?

A. I am a professional soccer player for Chicago Red Stars and Canada Soccer.

Q. What does being a Nuzest sports influencer mean to you?

A. It means that I finally have a platform to share my healthy lifestyle and promote health for everyone. I am extremely dedicated to sharing my experiences and inspiring people to take charge of their life.

Q. How do you make healthy choices and avoid temptations when it comes to your nutrition?

A. I live by the quote, “I’d rather suffer through the pain of self-discipline than the pain of regret.”

Q. What is your favorite indulgence?

A. Buying more books than I can read.

Q. What is your favorite healthy snack?

A. Yogurt bowl with granola, fruits, and chocolate chips. It’s so packed and thick it’s basically a meal!

Q. How do you stay active and fit?

A. I have strong self-discipline built in my character. It’s not something I was born with but something I cultivated over time. Once being active is part of your lifestyle and daily routine, you will crave the post-workout feeling! Staying active becomes second nature. I’ll have a video about how to have better self-discipline on my YouTube channel that I’m really excited to share.

Q. What is your favorite form of exercise?

A. Walking: can be done anywhere, anytime, alone, or with people!

Q. Aside from being a soccer superstar, what do you do for fun?

A. I have a YouTube channel that I love to share my life on. I love learning and consistently seek to expand my knowledge. I hope my social media can influence people to realize they have so much potential to better themselves!

Q. What advice do you have for people wanting to kick-start a healthy lifestyle or to pump up their nutrition?

A. The most important thing in creating a new habit is not the amount of time you spend on the habit, but the consistency of doing that habit every day. If it starts with two minutes on the bike, that’s 1% better than not doing anything. Out of 365 days, that 1% better everyday leads to 37% better in a year! Trust the process.
