Nuzest is honored to welcome Veronica Latsko as its newest sports influencer. Veronica is a huge fan of Nuzest. We sat down with Veronica (virtually), and here is what she had to say about life, soccer, and of course Nuzest. 

For those of us who don’t know you, who is Veronica?

I’m a professional women’s soccer player playing for Houston Dash in the US and I also play for Sydney FC in Australia. 

What does being a Nuzest sports influencer mean to you?

I’m excited to share with people what helps make me a better athlete off the field, and Nuzest has done exactly that. Nuzest protein helped me get fit and stay healthy for the entirety of the NWSL Challenge Cup Tournament, and I think it’s so important for athletes to understand how crucial protein is for your development.

How do you make healthy choices and avoid temptations when it comes to your nutrition?

Nuzest actually makes it really easy to avoid temptation and sugar because their protein can be used as an awesome healthy substitute. I make so many different types of healthy banana breads and treats using Nuzest protein!

What is your favorite indulgence?

I’ve always loved ice cream, but as a healthy substitute (that tastes practically the same), I make NiceCream with frozen bananas and Smooth Vanilla Nuzest Protein!

What is your favorite healthy snack?

I am a huge smoothie fan, they’re the easiest things to take on the go which fits perfect with my lifestyle.

How do you stay active and fit?

Outside of soccer, I love to go on longer runs and of course long walks with my pup.

What is your favorite form of exercise?

Playing soccer with my amazing teammates!

Aside from being a soccer superstar, what do you do for fun?

I love being outdoors whether it’s going for a long walk and listening to a podcast or going for a hike in the woods/mountains.

What advice do you have for people wanting to kick-start a healthy lifestyle or to pump up their nutrition?

Being healthy doesn’t mean you have to run 10 miles a day or deprive yourself of all things delicious. There are so many little tweaks that you can make to your day to day living that will help you kick-start a permanent healthy lifestyle.
